I'm so proud to announce my new tutorial series is now live on my website. This series, consisting of three main parts, is one of my biggest achievements to date, and a chance to give back to all of you who have supported me on my journey so far. So let's dive into what you can expect!
First of all, the tutorial series focuses on the fundamental principles of my abstract paintings, which are texture, layering, and metallics. Regardless of what abstract art piece I am working on, without these components, the piece would not be the same.
I have filmed the series in my new studio (which i will do a video on soon!) and being behind the camera was more nerve-racking than I had initially imagined! The easiest part of filming the tutorials was when I was physically standing and painting whilst talking through step by step what I was doing.. in fact I found it rather relaxing! But when it came to talking front on with the camera about me, my motivations, and myself, I became rather camera shy! As a London based abstract artist, I have become accustomed to being on social media, sharing brief videos of me working, and taking pictures of me and my art works, so to me, this came as a surprise!
